David Geffen Hall is home to the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center. The full-building renovation includes a new visual identity by 2x4, with signage, a custom typeface, and digital media. Our work spanned the building, from the facade and public spaces to the promenades and theater, creating an engaging, elevated experience at this iconic cultural institution.
Role: Environmental Designer. I developed the custom 3D alphabet in a range of materials, thoughtfully integrated across the building. Comprehensive wayfinding and refined donor signage navigate and punctuate the public spaces, extending the environmental identity and its role in connecting the public with this center for music.
